Transport

If you are organising a WIT event or taking part in competitions you can avail of the Institute’s transport service. Clubs, societies and groups can pre-book the bus for trips during the academic year. Booking forms can be obtained from the Clubs & Societies Office.

WIT Bus Service

Our fleet of coaches include:

• 53-seater luxury coach
• thirty-three-seater
• twenty-nine-seater
• five seater with large luggage capacity

The buses may only be used on Institute business. All buses are available to clubs, societies, classes and staff groupings. Groups may pre book the buses, such bookings should be made as early as possible to facilitate the proper scheduling of the buses throughout the year. Adhoc bookings may be made and will be administered on a first come first serve basis.

Shuttle Bus

During the academic year a shuttle bus is operated morning and evening between Manor Village Accommodation Office and the Main Cork Road Campus. This shuttle is only available to residents of Manor Village. Those using the facility must produce their WITCard when entering the bus. A timetable is available from the Transport Office or the Accommodation.
