Medical Services

MedicalThe WIT Student Medical Scheme was formed in 1987 and is managed by Campus Services. The aim of the healthcare scheme is to provide medical and nursing care to students who often put their health low on their list of priorities. We at the Medical Centre provide a holistic approach to student healthcare.

This scheme is provided by Dr. Sharon O' Donnell, Dr. Sean McBrinn, Dr. Lisa O' Neill, Dr. Caitriona Mooney, Nurses Gerardine Harrison, Tara Bourke, Eleanor Rossiter, our Practice Manager Jean Hubbard and our team of secretarial and receptionist staffs.

We hope to be able to provide ongoing care for those with medical and psychological problems when they are away from their families.

Registering With The Medical Centre

There is an annual fee for the medical centre for the academic year. This annual fee entitles the student to unlimited visitation to the two surgery premises (WIT campus and City Centre) and to the nurses.

Some procedures such as cryotherapy /smear test/ travel vaccinations, etc may incur an extra charge.
